Immediate opening: bread baker (Kentucky)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bread baker in Bullitt County, Kentucky. You will be based at a cake shop. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Food handler / hygiene certificate Your main tasks: • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Score the top of loaves before baking • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $26 per hour, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
