The role involves: • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports Ideal candidate: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces Six days a week, one day off.
