Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Warren County, Tennessee. You will be based on a structural steel site. You should have: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Day-to-day duties: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
