Dumper truck operator — Muskegon County

Now hiring: we are hiring a dumper truck operator in Muskegon County, Michigan. The job is at a plant hire yard. Day-to-day duties: • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
