Stitching operator • Ugwunagbo, Abia State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stitching operator in Ugwunagbo, Abia State. The role involves press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet. You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
