We are recruiting: we are hiring a MIG welder in Albemarle County, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding You should have: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
