Hydraulic press operator — Macon County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a hydraulic press operator in Macon County, North Carolina. You will work on the press shop floor. You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout The role involves: • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways 4+ years on the tools preferred.
