Shuttering charge hand wanted in South Ayrshire

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in South Ayrshire, Scotland. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Ideal candidate: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites Day-to-day duties: • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
