Lift installation engineer • Dudley, England

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Dudley, England. You will work in a machine room on the rooftop. What we are looking for: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Day to day you will replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around £2,750 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
