Single needle operator — Shasta County

Now hiring: we are hiring a single needle operator in Shasta County, California. The job is in a textile and apparel unit. You will keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish. Requirements: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
