Short order cook — Aleutians East Borough

Immediate opening: we are hiring a short order cook in Aleutians East Borough, Alaska. You should have: • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure Day to day you will chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $5,500 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
