Immediate opening: we are hiring a landscape gardener in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky. You will be based at a private estate garden. The role involves: • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste Requirements: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
