Immediate opening: gardener (Tennessee)

Now hiring: we are hiring a gardener in Putnam County, Tennessee. You will be based at a private estate garden. You will maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines. You should have: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Valid driving licence for travel between sites Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
