Now hiring: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Ekeremor, Bayelsa State. You will work at a high-rise construction project. What we are looking for: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Day to day you will form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. ₦250,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
