Great opportunity: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales. The role involves: • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Rotating shifts. £145 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
