We are recruiting: we are hiring a heat pump and renewables installer in Washington County, Idaho. Ideal candidate: • Full clean driving licence for van-based work • Proven experience installing air source or ground source heat pumps • Knowledge of heat loss calculations and system sizing The role involves connect the heat pump to underfloor heating manifolds or radiators; run and insulate refrigerant pipework between outdoor and indoor units; connect flow and return pipework to the buffer tank or cylinder; install and set up the hot water cylinder and immersion backup; pull a vacuum on the system with a vacuum pump and micron gauge; mount the outdoor unit on anti-vibration brackets on a solid base. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
