Now hiring: EHS coordinator (Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an EHS coordinator in Sussex County, Virginia. The job is at an oil and gas facility. The role involves: • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment You should have: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot Full-time with occasional weekends.
