Now hiring: we are hiring a GTAW welder in City of Poquoson, Virginia. Requirements: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination On the job you will handle: • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool Full-time with occasional weekends.
