Refrigeration and heat pump technician — Kent County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a refrigeration and heat pump technician in Kent County, Rhode Island. Day-to-day duties: • Weigh in and charge the correct refrigerant gas per manufacturer spec • Hand over the system to the customer and explain the controls • Survey the property and calculate heat loss room by room • Size and select the heat pump unit and buffer tank • Pressure test the refrigerant circuit with nitrogen and check for leaks Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in lofts or plant rooms • Own set of refrigerant tools: gauges, vacuum pump, scales • Willing to travel to domestic and small commercial sites At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
