Day-to-day duties: • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards Ideal candidate: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Part-time with flexible hours.
