Safety marshal wanted in Yates County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a safety marshal in Yates County, New York. You will be based at an oil and gas facility. You will take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates. Requirements: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate Part-time with flexible hours.
