Vacancy available: we are hiring an automotive refinish painter in City of Richmond, Virginia. The job is at a dealership paint shop. Day-to-day duties: • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting Ideal candidate: • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
