Semi-automatic welder wanted in Avery County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Avery County, North Carolina. On a typical shift you will set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
