Immediate opening: CO2 welder (South Dakota)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Haakon County, South Dakota. You will be based on a structural steel site. You should have: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Willing to work shifts and overtime The role involves: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
