Groundworker — Miller County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a groundworker in Miller County, Missouri. Day-to-day duties: • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction Ideal candidate: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
