Shuttering carpenter wanted in Essex County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Essex County, Virginia. Day to day you will assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN); seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level 1+ years on the tools preferred.
