Immediate opening: we are hiring a tile mason in City of Emporia, Virginia. The role involves: • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles Requirements: • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $16 per hour plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
