MIG welder wanted in City of Emporia

Join our team: we are hiring a MIG welder in City of Emporia, Virginia. You will work on a structural steel site. You should have: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes On the job you will handle: • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Contact us to fix an interview.
