Now hiring: we are hiring a gardener in Greenwood County, South Carolina. You will work in a botanical garden. The role involves: • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste Requirements: • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage Part-time with flexible hours.
