Immediate opening: stainless steel welder (Mississippi)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Leake County, Mississippi. You will work in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. You will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job. Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
