Steel fixer — Spink County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixer in Spink County, South Dakota. What we are looking for: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Day to day you will keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Contact us to fix an interview.
