Now hiring: we are hiring a MIG welder in Juneau City and Borough, Alaska. You will bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints. Requirements: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends.
