Immediate opening: we are hiring a PV installer in Aransas County, Texas. You will work at an off-grid rural installation. On a typical shift you will carry out periodic inspection and fault-finding on existing arrays; lay out panel strings to match the shading and layout plan; mount and wire battery storage units and charge controllers; mount racking rails and mounting brackets on roof trusses or ground-mount frames; run DC cabling from panels to combiner boxes and string inverters. You should have: • Basic electrical knowledge of DC and AC systems • Able to read PV layout drawings and wiring diagrams Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
