Immediate opening: sheet metal welder (Kwara State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Ilorin South, Kwara State. The role involves: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec What we are looking for: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces 6+ years on the tools preferred.
