Foundry labourer — Roane County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Roane County, Tennessee. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. What we are looking for: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal On the job you will handle: • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings 1+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
