Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc turner in Webster County, Iowa. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection Your main tasks: • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish Six days a week, one day off.
