Immediate opening: D6/D8 dozer operator (Pennsylvania)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Erie County, Pennsylvania. Ideal candidate: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain The role involves: • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals Pay around $31 per hour, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
