Immediate opening: cake decorator (Maryland)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cake decorator in Dorchester County, Maryland. You will be based at a café with an on-site bakery. On the job you will handle: • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand You should have: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Able to work early-morning and night shifts 5+ years on the tools preferred.
