Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Cass County, Texas. You will work on a busy high-rise construction site. Your main tasks: • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters Requirements: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Able to read formwork and structural drawings Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
