Immediate opening: fabricator-welder (Missouri)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Cedar County, Missouri. The job is on a structural steel site. What we are looking for: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Your main tasks: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
