Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gardener in Polk County, Georgia. The job is at a landscaping company. On the job you will handle: • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
