Concrete worker • Kurfi, Katsina State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete worker in Kurfi, Katsina State. Day to day you will compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength. You should have: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
