Vacancy available: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. You should have: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts On the job you will handle: • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
