Lifting rigger — Washington County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Washington County, Florida. On a typical shift you will carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. You should have: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
