We are recruiting: we are hiring a meat cutter in Van Buren County, Tennessee. Requirements: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required On the job you will handle: • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
