Aluminium installer — City of Winchester

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium installer in City of Winchester, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors • Fix handles, hinges, friction stays, locks and multipoint hardware • Cut aluminium profiles to size on a double-mitre cutting saw • Load and offload fabricated units without scratching the finish • Apply silicone sealant and weather seals around the frames • Punch and notch sections for cleats, gaskets and hardware You should have: • Able to read shop drawings and work to given sizes • Physically able to lift and carry heavy glass and profiles • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding and ladders Full-time, day shift.
