Vacancy available: natural gas fitter (Georgia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Oglethorpe County, Georgia. The role involves check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Able to read isometric and site drawings Pay around $25 per hour, based on your experience.
