Tig welder — Isiala-Ngwa North

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tig welder in Isiala-Ngwa North, Abia State. You will work at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Own basic hand tools and PPE Day-to-day duties: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) We offer ₦1,000 per hour plus benefits.
