Car wiring technician — City of Harrisonburg

Now hiring: we are hiring a car wiring technician in City of Harrisonburg, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Diagnose electrical faults using an OBD-II scanner • Read and clear ECU fault codes • Install alarms, immobilisers and central locking • Check charging system output and battery voltage • Test batteries, alternators and starter motors with a multimeter What we are looking for: • Able to read wiring diagrams confidently • ITI certificate in auto electrical or electronics, or equivalent • Skilled with multimeter, test lamp and diagnostic scanner At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
