We are recruiting: we are hiring a metal caster in Gwinnett County, Georgia. On the job you will handle: • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture You should have: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
